Accent Music Therapy rings the opening bell with a rockin’ good time
Mississauga, ON (22 January 2013) – Accent Music Therapy (AMT), a Mississauga-based healthcare business, celebrated its launch with a full house of very supportive and enthusiastic stakeholders. Held at Failte’s Irish Pub on Thursday, January 17th, the rock-charged and laugh inducing event marked the official launch of Accent Music Therapy.

Accent Music Therapy serves the communities of Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, Milton, Brampton, GTA West and surrounding areas, and offers individual and group music therapy services, as well as adapted music lessons to children, youth and young adults with special needs.
The launch of a new business with such a wide reach requires a strong network of supporters, colleagues and clientele, and that’s exactly what the launching event got. The at times standing room only party, featured oldies cover band The Dreamboats, Accent Music Therapy’s own client rock band SUPERFIRE, and Toronto based standup comic Chris Locke.
Bill Murray, Director of AMT shared that “
the event was really well attended. SUPERFIRE brought the house down, and our colleagues, clients, partners and friends all seemed to have a great time!”
Murray also noted that given the success of the launch event, AMT will be organizing another event sometime in mid-June 2013.
Mary Letarte, parent of a long-time client of Murray’s expressed that
“we are really excited and happy for Bill. What Accent Music Therapy does for Jeff has been life changing. We are happy for Bill that he is able to continue to do what he loves, and happy for the countless number of children he is going to be able to help with the launch of this new business.”
