Accent Music Therapy receives a $15,000 national business loan!

Mississauga, ON (26 March 2013) ‐ Accent Music Therapy (AMT) is proud to announce that they have been awarded a $15,000 business development loan from The Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF).

THE CYBF’s Start‐Up Program provides business and financial support and resources to young Canadian entrepreneurs, age 18 to 39, to help bring their business ideas to life for long‐term success. In 14 years, CYBF reports to have invested in more than 5,600 young Canadians, whose businesses have created more than 22,100 new jobs, $157 million in tax revenue.

An added benefit to the CYBF grant is a mentorship program to that will support the mission of AMT. AMT is extremely excited to announce that Piero Fusco, Director of Sales at TELUS has partnered with AMT to help navigate the challenges of starting up a new business. Mr. Fusco brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and leadership to the table to help AMT continue to grow and bring its unique and effective services to the communities we serve.

“The experiences and knowledge available through mentorship are invaluable,” says Fusco. “AMT is flourishing, and I’m lucky to be a part of a business that is changing lives.”

The grant will have a significant impact on the communities AMT serves. AMT commits to use the funding to help manage growth, and develop strategic planning to become Canada’s leading paediatric music therapy service.
